How It Works

A Smarter Way to Find Talent

It's an accepted fact that next to internal employees, employee referrals are the best source of candidates. They improve the time needed to fill positions while minimizing the potential risks of failure.

This is where Oncology Monitors comes in, it’s how we are different, and it's how we can help you - we ARE clinical research monitors. We leverage our relationship-based network to source your candidates from within the industry.

Most staffing companies specializing in Clinical Research do a good job at primary sourcing passive candidates and helping Pharmas, CRO's, Device, and Biotech companies improve their time-to-hire. But the proliferation of internet job boards primarily used for this sourcing now presents a new problem: the quality of candidates and the ability to navigate through the hundreds of resumes submitted for any given position.

A better approach is to attempt to find the 'best fit' candidate for a position, whether active or passive, and indeed this is what many companies offer when marketing to industry. For monitors, fit is usually ascertained by a short phone screen to the candidate and perhaps an experience questionnaire and checking references, and/or a positive referral by a current or former client. The additional screening is beneficial, but is added to the resume when submitted, resulting in even more material to sift through on the client side. This approach also usually takes more time and costs more money.

Oncology Monitors offers better results than either traditional approach because our economies of scale and experience within the industry positions us to screen your candidates more effectively without the extra time or cost.

Do you have time to hire your next Clinical Research Associate based on a stack of resumes, or would you rather talk to an experienced CRA still in the trenches who can find out what you need and then deliver?

Whether you're in study start-up or crisis mode, whether we are your preferred vendor of choice or last resort, you owe it to yourself, your investors, and your research subjects to get the best CRAs you can get.

They don't grow on trees. The kind of expertise you need can't be uncovered with a phone script, a talking points memo, and an experience profile. A good monitor is not someone you can find by searching on resume keywords, and the skills they possess aren’t taught in a classroom. You need experience, period – both in the field and in your staffing partner, and we can help.

Oncology Monitors. That’s all we do – so we do it better than anyone else.
