CRAs

Clinical Research Associates are not just our business - it's our life; we are CRA's too. If you are one of us and have found your way here, welcome - you are one of the primary reasons we are in business. We want CRAs who genuinely care about their own personal development, career, and commitment to patient safety and approval of new and potentially life-saving drugs for the 'Emperor of All Maladies'.

We are CRA-centric in a way we can promise you that you will not find with anyone else in the industry – recruiter, staffer, CRO, or sponsor. We didn’t start our company to get rich or go public (can you imagine that?). We are genuinely interested in doing a better job, find this to be a calling, and are focuses on both making a difference and making an impact. One of the reasons we exist is to provide an alternative to a clinical research recruiting industry that treats CRAs as commodities rather than clients, that employs unprofessional, commissioned salesmen as their agents, and that read from scripts and 'match' you with a potential employer based on criteria they often don't understand themselves. They do this all while representing to the potential client that they have a 'close, personal relationship' with you. We are here if for no other reason than to provide an alternative to business as usual, a voice you can turn to for the straight story, an ear that can understand and appreciate what you have to say. As Jimmy Stewart's George Bailey espoused so eloquently in It's A Wonderful Life "This town needs this measly one-horse institution if only to have some place where people can come without crawling to Potter." If you've worked with the 'Potters' in our industry - you know what this means. If not - just wait.

We are founded on a simple principle: YOU are a client too.

In our industry, the client pays the bill and so the allegiance of the recruiter goes to the client. If you don’t already know this, you’ll probably find out one day the hard way. No, we don’t propose to charge you anything for our services, and although we tend to be advocates for our monitors, we find that the best way to be part of the solution is not to be part of the problem, so we focus on common goals for ALL our clients – you included.

We believe this can be achieved by enlightened self-interest and basic economic theory: the process works better if we all work together and we all have built-in incentives to do so.

Nevertheless, this isn’t an approach that will work with everyone, and it’s not designed to. That’s why we only concentrate on doing one thing, so we can do it well, and stay within our core competency, which is oncology clinical research monitoring. We prefer positive, win-win relationships where expectations can be met on both sides, and we try to only work with clients and CRAs that are looking for the same thing.

After all, if you aren’t happy, none of this works.
